This is for non-EU family members (partners) of EU/EEA citizens. The Dutch immigration authorities (IND) have national immigration rules and regulations and those that comply with the European Union (EU) Freedom of Movement rights. The EU Freedom of Movement rights are more relaxed and fair than the national immigration requirements. Thus, if one of you has an EU/EEA nationality it makes sense to make use of that. The EU national does need to have a job or have enough means for the family not to become a burden on the state.
ACT’s immigration lawyer will interview you and will work with you and advise you on how to collect evidence with respect to your EU Freedom of Movement rights and your relationship with your non-EU spouse, partner, parents, children, etc. With this evidence you can apply for a “verification against EU law” which in turn entitles the person to a residence permit and the permission to work in the country.
Our fees are per hour and in most cases one hour or two is sufficient. If you have a more challenging situation this may require more time.
